Please identify the size on the sidewall of your tyres and compare it to the inscriptions in your vehicle documents:


Read the marking on the tyre sidewall:
  • Width: eg 175, 185, 195, 205, 215, 225, ...
  • Aspect ratio (height): eg 65, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40, 35, ...
  • R: radial tyre construction
  • Diameter: eg 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, ...
  • Load index: for the majority of cars, SUVs and light trucks the index lies between 80 and 120.
  • Speed Rating: T (190km / h), H (210km / h), V (240km / h), W (270km / h), Y (300km / h), ZR (> 240km / h), (Y) (> 300km / h), ...
  • OEM approvals: AO (Audi), * (BMW), MO (Mercedes), J (Jaguar), N0, N1, N2 (Porsche), F (Ford), ...
  • Other markings: Runflat, RFT, SSR, XL, TL, SEAL, DOT, .... => See section tyre information.
  • M&S, mud and snow: winter and all season tyres carry this mark.
  • Check the tyre sizes on the front and rear axle of your car!

Information about an authorized tyre size may be written in the "Remarks" field.


Certificate of Conformity (CoC):

All tyre sizes approved for your vehicle are mentioned in paragraphs "35. Tyres & Wheels" and "52. Remarks".
